Everyone who completes his/her goal will be able to attend an outside party on July 21,2008 from 9 a.m. t0 1 p.m. at the Dothan Library. See you there!

RULES:

1.      Preschoolers through 6th graders for the school year 2008-2009 are eligible to participate.  Nonreaders may have others read to them. Readers should read independently.

2.      A reader needs his own valid library card to register.  A parent or guardian’s signature is needed to obtain a juvenile card, or update an old card.

3.      Participants may register at the Main Library in Dothan, at the Ashford or Columbia Branches, or the Bookmobile, beginning June 2.  Activities end July 14th, but certificates will be issued through July 21.

4.      At the time of registration each person, with a parent’s help, will set his own realistic goal for the number of books to be read (minimum of 10).  Each participant will be given a reading log on which to keep his own record.

5.      Free activities have been planned for participants.  These events will be held in the Community Room at the Main Library. (See schedule for Ages & Dates.)
